Description
Dharamshala, the home of His Holiness Dalai Lama, attracts a big chunk of visitors throughout the year. Located here is my homestay which is a perfect place for all the budget travellers, solo travellers and all the ones who are more of a traveller and less of a tourist. The homestay has nicely carpeted floors with a simple and home like dcor which will make you comfortable instantly. There is a lot for you to do here, like read books, go out to explore the local markets or simply laze around here all day long.

As the name suggests, it's a place where you can find happiness! I was here for almost a month with two other friends. The stay was very comfortable and food was just delicious. It's just 10-15 min away from the main market. The internet speed is good, so if you're planning to work from mountains, then this place is a gem.

We are a couple with a toddler, so we wanted a homely stay with good healthy and tasty food. Anandam home stay was lovely. Dad and his staff both were warm and welcoming. Our daughter quickly adapted here and we also loved the view from the room. All in all it was a beautiful experience for us.

We had visited McLeodganj and stayed at Anandam Homestay for a week in March 2021 after being cooped up in our homes for the duration of a long and testing year. The scenic beauty of the location as well as the gracious nature of our host Dada, as he is fondly known in these parts was a welcome change. Be it the ease of working from mountains or getting our request for specific meals, Dada took care of it all. He also assisted us in getting connected with the best guide possible for a stellar trek to Kareri Lake as well as arranging our thrill filled adventure of Para gliding at Bir Billing. A place recommended for anybody who is looking for simplistic and tranquil pleasures that mountains offer. Thanks Dada for making our week-long stay one of the most memorable times in our lives.

If you are looking for homestay, Anandam Homestay is a perfect choice. The hospitality of Dada (super host) and his staff is just amazing. If you love dogs, you may end up extending your stay because of four amazinggggg dogs that Dada have with him. Food is another thing that one will love to eat instead going out. The view from the balcony was a perfect mood booster.
