Description
Tinchuley Monastery, Kalimpong Overview. In Darjeeling district, there is a small village called Tinchuley situated 3 km above Tadha at 5,800ft altitude. The meaning of the Tinchuley is three ovens which mean three chullahs in Hindi. The name is given as Tinchuley because of the way it looks.

This is located about 50 metre inside from the road. Lots of trees are there around the monastery. A peaceful place. However, the monastery is not big and small one. Some new construction was going on the day when I visited the place.

It is a calm and qauit place with beautiful view . I was little disappointed with a complete concrete construction under progress. A young boy was curiously looking at us..otherwise no one was around. ..very peaceful ..
