In Darjeeling, tea garden is very common but now doubt how many times you go, the views are always breathtaking. Climates are always pleasent here. This is a part of tourist places so keep this place clean and do not pluck tea leaf. Local rent their traditional dress for clicking photos, one can rent the dress and click photos. They also sell the tea leaf, one can buy it on affordable price.

A tea garden referred to as the Happy Valley Tea Estate, in Darjeeling district in the Indian state of West Bengal. Established in 1854, it is Darjeeling's second oldest tea estate. Spread over 177 hectares, it is situated at a height of 2,100 meters above sea level, 3 kilometers north of Darjeeling. One can get great views from here. A good place for photo shoots. You can also buy Tea from the vendors having shops just outside the garden near the parking. They will let you taste the tea before you buy as well. You can also dress up like a tea garden labor and click photos. The costumes are provided by the local vendors. They will charge you around INR 50 for that.

This place wasn't upto my expectation. You couldn't really roam in the garden as it was on steep slopes, and barricaded. It was mostly viewing the tea garden from far only. Nevertheless the view was beautiful. The good part was renting out of clothes at 50 rs. so a lot of people were getting clicked in those dresses. There was various tea stalls and sellers right outside serving delicious teas. Some woollen cloth and accessories shops were also there.

Fun to visit these beautiful tea-gardens. Moreover it comes with tasting of two types of tea and then some tea shopping if you like it. Doesn't take away much of your time and yet gives you a new experience. I liked it.

A good place to visit, view of Kangchenjunga on the back drop is wonderful. Have posted a picture too, have a look at it. Just a fifteen minute spend here is sufficient
