U will definitely love the place, I bet it. U will have two roads leading towards the different species of animal within a few steps from the entrance gate. The roads are well directed and maintained. Guards are there within the premises to check the animals' safety and comfort. The species the authority reserves with great care is really praise worthy. The museum and the academy will just blow ur mind with their rich collection. Here U will witness the climbers stuff used by the great climbers. And u can watch documentary on climbers in the academy. So, just be there even for once and enjoy.

One of the best zoological park I've visited. The staff taking almost care to observe silence. Cleanliness is maintained. Facilities are maintained in good condition. Animals kept in well condition and atmosphere suitable to them. I've enjoyed the visit. You can get sharing vehicle to reach here around RS.20. Street eating places available. You can have photo shoot in traditional dress at RS.50

It's a well maintained zoo that also houses the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute. With variety of flora and fauna at display it definitely fulfils it's need as a tourist attraction and as an educational aid for kids and people pursuing zoology. The animals however are singular for many enclosures. Hence deeming harmful for liveliness but I doubt much help can come at that end. The staff definitely needs an applause for the cleanliness at the premises.

A very beautiful zoo in the lap of Himalayan. Very beautiful animals and have lots of rooms for them in every division. Normal zoo's have narrow cages. Calm place, good for a walk, spend time with other species. The place is also clean and environmental friendly.
