We arrived by car and in a cold weather. We parked easily outside of the front of the hotel in its own dedicated parking area. At reception we received a very personal helpful and warm welcome; one of the best from any hotel that we have visited. All our queries were answered, restaurant advice given and bookings made. I was told how to drive around the hotel. From here we went to our rooms which was not upside but it was in the downward direction. Our room, a superior double, was of good size with a large bed, well furnished and very light. To my delight it also had a Nespresso coffee machine! The bathroom was excellent; well lit with good mirrors, basin, bath and a wonderfully powerful separate shower which was probably one of the best we have experienced. All the towels were large and soft. There was an excellent evening ‘turn-down’ service when all of the towels were replaced if used. The hotel really felt very personal and quiet, with a lot of comfortable space in all of the public rooms. The breakfast room was well laid out with again a personal welcome and service. The food was really amazing and tasty. The view outside the room was lit. In morning you wake up and you see sunrise on Kanchenjunga. We would have no hesitation on returning when next in Darjeeling. Thank you to everyone who made us feel welcome and our stay so comfortable.

It's very good hotel with very delicious food. Hotel staff was very good and very humble. We had a problem with our car last day when we had to get our flight. At that time the owner of hotel helped us a lot. Overall perfect hotel. U can see Kanchanjanga mountain from the room of this hotel. Very nice location of hotel. It's very clean and beautiful.

Rooms are good and place is awesome, the view of kanchanjunga is very good from hotel rooms. The manager is very arrogant and but the staff are helpful and responsive. The food is pathetic. Our whole tour group suffered from Diarrhea on returning day. When I asked for the room heater, they demanded for 300/- per night! The furnishings is of cheap and poor quality. The bathroom flooring is very slippery as it lacks curtains to separate wet shower area. If they cant separate the areas they should have used anti skid tiles at least. Be careful if elderly people are staying.

This hotel location is really amazing. Bit difficult to reach hotel but from this hotel location, kanchanjunga peak can be seen easily through windows and one can see the sunrise rays reaching peaks in morning. Food is good and staff is also good. Rooms are ok kind of. It's 3 star property so cheaper and optimum service will be provided. Good experience though.

Hotel manager is very poor. He s dominant person. Isolated location to town. No taxi, no auto available. You have to pay approx Rs.800 for hotel car to even to bring medicine in emergency. Take your decision very carefully
