This is the newest museum in Darjeeling inaugurated on 2nd July 2015 by revered Tibetan guru Gurung Tulku Nima Hoiser Rinpoche. This museum has its main focus on the history and culture of the Tibetans rather than their religious backgrounds.

The place is a must visit. As far as I know it is included in 5 point or 7 points tour the taxi drivers offer. But this place is just walking distance from Mall road. Inside there Tibetan socio culture and history is depicted. Some souveneirs also are there. The lady at the front desk was very gentle.

Once I visited this place and I loved it. It consists of various religious stuffs of Buddhist religion and Nepali culture.

Very informative place to know about the cultural heritage about Darjeeling and the tibet culture prevalence in the hills. Worth the time. The interior is filled with epic hand painting with vibrant colours .
