Glenary's Bakery & Cafe, also known as the Glenary's Cake Shop is located at the ground floor of a two storied white colonial building that prominently displays its name in front. This is a prominent landmark of Darjeeling and existing since the British colonial days. It's run by the Edwards family. Bar, Casual Dining - Beverages, Cafe, Chinese, Continental, North Indian, Momos. Approx cost for two people Rs 1,000.

If you in Darjeeling then you must visit this place. Food is awesome and you get variety of baked items and superb quality of Darjeeling tea. The prices are also good. And the ambience and crowd of this place is also good. View from their restaurant is just breathtaking. It's in the main market (mall road)

They are one of the few legacy restaurants of Darjeeling. A must visit place when you are here. They have two covered sitting area at ground floor and first floor and open air sitting area at both the floors! Relax! Don't worry they have lampshed heaters above every table in the open air sitting area to keep you warm. The food is standard, nothing extraordinary. Something that you might expect at a typical English eatery. The ambience is good. They are also famous for their bakery and confectionery products. Over all a good place to visit at the most once or twice for breakfast and for dinner.

The decor is absolutely brilliant. It has got all the fine dining feels. The food tastes good. The quantity is better than the quality though. It's okay price wise. The service is pretty average though. It's a must visit once. You can't simply miss glenary's if you are at Darjeeling.

"Glenary's" is a very nice place. The vintage vibe of the place is what everyone seeks and that's one of the many reasons the place is very famous among locals and tourists. However, the place is usually crowded with tourists and the cakes are sold out pretty fast and you'd have to wait for sometime if you are there on festive seasons. But it's worth the wait. And as a local guide, i would highly recommend the place.

Probably the best place to have pastries, pudding and pie in Darjeeling. A must visit place personally. It has the ambience and the taste and is affordable. It also has a very good restaurant on the first floor with all kind of dishes veg and non veg. We visited during Christmas and was blown away.
