Description
The Rock Garden is also known as the Barbotey Rock Garden which is located some 10kms (or 6.2 miles) away from Darjeeling town in a valley down below. Ganga Maya is another park area located further down. However the view of Darjeeling's landscape and the mountain range from the road is unparalleled.

The park has fallen into disrepair and neglect over the years. All the natural part of the park, the plants, flowers, trees and the stream make for a very pleasing experience. The human built structures, not so much. Still, this is a rather secluded and peaceful park and if possible needs to be on your itinerary should you visit Darjeeling.

The park is very big , nice place and is very green . There is a variety of flowers in the park . I really liked this park .
