Description
This is the only art gallery of its kind in Darjeeling which was jointly established in 1965 by Late Ava Devi who was known as a genius of embroidery art, and her husband Bhopal Rao Sett. Inside, there is a permanent collection of sixty pieces of exquisite artwork of Ava Devi including water, oil and thread paintings.

A good place to visit in Darjeeling if you are into arts and stuffs. Entry fee is only 5rs. Photography is strictly not allowed inside and any defaulter to this rule will be penalised with a fine of 1000rs.
