Winehouse Osteria is a cosy Italian wine bar and restaurant located downtown Brussels - it's a place where you can drink amazing Italian wine and pair it with simple yet delicious, food prepared from original-only always fresh ingredients Our adventure started few years ago when we started importing carefully selected Italian wines and selling them to friends during organised wine tastings. After two years it was clear to us that we needed to go one step further. Winehouse Osteria project was born in 2013 and its primary purpose was to create a point of sale for our growing customer base as well as a new great way to bring our wines to the tables of Wine-Lovers in Brussels and Belgium. Today, we invite you to discover traditional Italian & fine wines in a friendly atmosphere and the beautiful setting of an historical building built by a Flemish architect to honour his wife in the 1940. Great little gem of a restaurant where you feel immediately at home. All the dishes we had were excellent, and what's more the service is great as well, something which is not always the case in Brussels. We were even served free water (flat and sparkling) :-) A must go again experience.

I have been here many times and recommended it to many people in the past. Until recently I gave this place 5 stars. Food and wine have always been great. The poor rating is because the last two times I’ve tried to make a reservation over the phone they’ve been rude and argumentative -simple and innocent questions are met with angry and frustrated responses, and a desire to end the call as quickly as possible as if they don’t want my business. Which particularly stings because I’ve been a repeat/loyal customer for more than a year. I’ll change the rating when I feel the service has improved. If I even bother to try and make a reservation here again.

I had a superb dinner here, surprised to see very authentic dishes on the menu and exquisite choices of wine by the glass. The place is very small, 10 tables for 2 in total, so reservation is a must. It is really worth it though. The tuna coated in sesame was cooked perfectly, the funghi porcini risotto full of flavour in its simplicity, the gnocchi as well... A nice treat in the centre!

Mum fiancé and I dined here for my fiancé’s birthday. We were looking for unique yet cozy restaurant and we happened to find this restaurant where many people have given many praised about this place. The restaurant is small but cozy and many wines are displayed in the restaurant (it’s wine house after all). The price range of the wines are mid to high range. At first sight it seems like not so many people go here at 6PM but many people tend to have late dinner. So you can expect more crowd around 7PM. For those people who are planning to dine here after 7PM then I would strongly recommend making reservation by calling them on advance. The staffs were very friendly. The person who answered the phone for my reservation gave a friendly vibe and so as the waiter who served us. They were attentive and service was great! We only took main dishes and those were very unique presented and made! You don’t just see it in any Italian restaurant and on my in real one! as for the portion for pasta was a lot and it was very delicious (so as the swordfish). To finish our dining we did order desserts but it was just too much even though it was also great. If we have another special occasion we would love to dine here again (even though there are a lot of great restaurants in Brussels but this is one of my favourite one)! Only down side was it might accept Ednered but they didn’t accept Sodexo even though I confirmed it during my reservation if they accept it . But the machine kept on rejecting it. Who knows it’s the fault of Sodexo app for point out that this restaurant accepts it and actually it doesn’t accept it anymore.

We went with 5 people. The staff was very friendly. I ordered vegetarian lasagna and I can honestly say it was the worst lasagna I had ever had. It was literally tasteless and they charged 18 euros for this ! I do not recommend, avoid.
