"kelder" is Dutch for "basement". Thus, the restaurant is located below the hotel. 'T Kelderke has classic Belgian food. The pork shank is huge, it can be shared between two people. The staff is friendly - all speak English, French and Dutch. It was so easy to talk to them.

Food was great we ordered 4 menus, they were all amazing especially stews and garlic mussels. Staffs were nice and friendly. Restaurant locates by the grand place easily found.

First of all, the place is very nice, the decor is fantastic and the food is very traditional. The ambiance and music could be improved, they broadcast a radio channel and it becomes very noisy mainly during the radio ads. Food in general is good, I was a bit disappointed by the stoemp which was bland even if it is a specialty of the place. The blood pudding was very tasty, not too spicy and very tender. Finally, service was good but slow from start to end.

Good, solid Belgian food in a cellar restaurant. Plenty of beer, generous portions and a convivial atmosphere. What's not to like?

Wonderful restaurant. Super kind staff, very nice meals and good prices. I really recommend to try it.
