The Cathedral of St. Michael and St. Gudula is a medieval Roman Catholic church in central Brussels, Belgium. It is dedicated to St. Michael and St. Gudula, the patron saints of the City of Brussels, and is considered to be one of the finest examples of Brabantine Gothic architecture.

beautiful scene from outside and inside, witnessing of great Europe from the past to the present. a Gothic architecture in a holy place with stained glass windows. very beautiful. you should come and enjoy the treasure. take a time to meditate or pray there

Very beautiful cathedral, a must do in Brussels. Sometimes the cathedral organizes free tours around it. I recommend to take this tour, because in this case you can understand the meaning behind paintings and statutes. Indeed, the history of Brussels is written in them.

Loved the bright color of the walls! It’s so big! There was a very nice crib exhibition made by the communities from all over the world.

This Cathedral was built between the XI century and the facade was commissioned late in the XV century. Excellent to get a chance to visit when in Belgium and nearby hotspots. It is an example of the Gothic-Barbantine architecture. Also easy access by the Belgian public transportation. Highly recommend.
