The Royal Saint-Hubert Galleries are an ensemble of glazed shopping arcades in central Brussels, Belgium. Designed and built by architect Jean-Pierre Cluysenaer between 1846 and 1847, they precede other famous 19th-century European shopping arcades such as the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan (Italy) and The Passage in St Petersburg (Russia). Like them, they have twin regular facades with distant origins in Vasari's long narrow street-like courtyard of the Uffizi in Florence, with glazed arched shopfronts separated by pilasters and two upper floors, all in an Italianate Cinquecento style, under an arched glass-paned roof with a delicate cast-iron framework.

A must see location for visitors of Brussels. Very regal and beautifully furnished all year rounds. A large selection of shops to see or sit down at. Can be quite busy with passersby. But great cafés dotted all over if you like to people watch whilst enjoying the decor from the floor to the wall to the amazingly tall ceiling.

The building is beautiful and it's a great place to get your chocolates and waffles. I don't know anything regarding the architecture, but it is a well built with an attractive gallery. Look up and pay attention to all small architectural details. There are loads of tourists with massive trainers and cameras the size of tanks. Also, there are handcraft stores there which are pricy but worth the visit! and lots and lots of chocolate shops inside.

Top Attraction in Brussel so you should definitely take a walk into the gallery. There are plenty of stores with chocolate so this is the place to taste or buy different kinds of chocolate. Highly recommend!

I don't know anything about architecture, but it is an exquisitely built and beautiful gallery. If I am waiting for a train I come and have a wander through it, some wonderful shops and cafes. An excellent people watch. There are loads of Americans with massive trainers and cameras the size of tanks.
