I went to mass here- I think it was mostly Flemish? But some French that I was able to understand, and the choir sung in English (beautiful voices by the way). Then I did the panoramic view, I believe it cost 5 euros. Definitely worth it- honestly the best way to end my trip! The view is 360 and absolutely amazing to see all of Brussels from the top. Inside the basilica, there are also many beautiful stained glass windows. And on the way up to the panorama, there are two mini art exhibitions/displays. Loved it :)

A wonder of the world! It took me all morning and part of the afternoon to get through this beautiful basilica. I can't even begin to describe what a wonderful place this is. I would just sit at the bottom, and stare at the ceiling and wonder; who in their right mind was up there?! It is so tall! The window art is unbelievable, the middle section of the basilica with all the flags is stunning. Every detail, every carve, every column and painting. This place is so mind blowing. They have a small section on the second floor that shows you (with pictures) how the basilica was built and the history behind it. As you're looking into the basilica from the main entrance, on the middle left hallway by the end of it you'll see some offices. In there is a tourist office where you pay a small amount to go to the top of the basilica, please do it! Super worth it. Overall it is one of the places I will forever remember, it is magnificent. (Tip: I sat down and played some Hans Zimmer music on my headphones and added an unmatchable immersive experience)

Very big basilica with great green walking paths in front of the basilica. Modern architecture but yet lacking of some charm.

Excellent place to visit in Brussels. Must take the opportunity to go on the roof level to see the panaromic view of BRUSSELS. The architecture of the church is absolutely phenomenal.

When I have an hour to kill in Brussels I usually make for the Basilica. The church itself is of epic proportions and rather barn like on the inside. However, the main attraction is the panorama from the walkway around the dome. The views over Brussels are brilliant. Well worth a visit.
