Great location, atmosphere & value. This place was buzzing on Saturday night & we were lucky to grab one of the last tables nestled in the restaurant area at the back. The staff are welcoming friendly & the menu is beautiful simple.

The pasta there is to die for. You only get a few choices which helps the decision making to the minimum effort. Portioning was amazing and there are vegetarian options as well. The staffs are fast and helpful. There are a huge library of Belgian beers to try and match. You can also wait at the pub side whilst waiting to be seated as it's always a long queue during the weekend and festive season. It's cosy and merry restaurant to try.

Loved it! Not too small, but very busy pub! Good choice of beers, and nice pairing with the appetizers and the pickles mustard. They were unfortunately out of Monk stout which I wanted to taste. To eat, the Maxi portion is too much for a standard person. But the spaghetti is quite good. The service and the ambiance were good as well. A nice evening at the Monk!

It's located in the lovely center of Brussels. You could say it's on the beautiful Sainte-Catherine square. The view and surroundings are great. Once inside Monk, it's like you went back in time. The old, warm, wooden decor says it all. The staff is great as well. Don't forget to try the local beers and the good spaghetti they serve there.

Nice atmosphere, large beers offer and good small snacks! There is very friendly staff on the bar. There is also interesting buffet in back part of this bar. We visited this place two times with my friends during our visit, and this bar was quite busy every time, but don't give up, you don't have to wait long for some free table ...
