The Autrique House, Victor Horta's first building of note, is of major importance in the architectural heritage of Brussels. The Maison Autrique is the very first striking building Victor Horta designed. It was built in 1893 and is as such a major part of Brussels' architectural heritage.

The first Brussels example of Horta's capability to make the best out of the traditional way to construct houses at that time. Look at the way he brought additional sunlight to the staircase! Look at revolutionary tools like a coffee grinder on the wall, a portable container to keep warm plates, and an elevator for coffee trays from the Kirchen to the dining room. Amazing!

Horta style house, has some interesting rooms. The visit didn't take long, but the craftsmanship of this decorated house is definitely worth a visit

A fantastic example of Belgian architecture. Very well renovated. Some little games and quizz for the kids.
