Really beautiful landscape. You can take a stroll around it on a bright day, and if you're lucky you could find an empty seat. Better still, put a cloth on the ground and seat really close to the pond.

The Ixelles Ponds or Elsene Ponds are two freshwater ponds in the Brussels municipality of Ixelles. The ponds we can see today are those spared by a 19th-century campaign of drying the wetlands of the Maalbeek valley between La Cambre Abbey and Eugène Flagey Square.

Quick bus ride from the centre of Brussels, great park with ponds and ducks and plenty of free space.

I hope the dog owners will be taxed in Belgium for littering cities. When walking around in Brussels one can not enjoy watching nice sceeneries rather should avoid stepping on dog sh...

This is a lovely, peaceful area where people come to unwind after work. Runners, dog-walkers, people sitting and reading and friends holding hands . It is seconds away from viby bars and restaurants, but feels like it is in the middle of nature. A truly lovely area to re-connect with yourself
