Frit Flagey is hardly a secret spot; in fact it’s one of the most popular places for locals in Brussels but no food blog about the EU capital would be complete without it. We are talking about Belgium after all, the land of waffles, beer, chocolate and fries! If you’ve ever been to Brussels, you probably know that every area has its own fritkot, a little kiosk serving Belgium’s national fast food, and there’s even a yearly “Fritomètre” whereby people vote for their favourite friteries. A nice spot with good fries, I wouldn’t say they are anything special but they have a wide range of sauces. Around 3,50€ for a large cone. Would recommend in summer rather than winter, so you can enjoy them on the bench outside the kiosk.

I understand why it is the most reviewed fries place in the city. I tried 10 different place but undoubtedly this is the best

Always busy and a long queue but totally worth it! Delicious and very cheap. Highly recommended! FYI, they accept cards.

Even though I'm generally not too keen on frites, the ones they served here with the andalouse were incredible. Worth the hype.

Excellent fries, have been there already +20 times, never disappointed. And big plus for their environmental efforts: fries come in paper 'cornet' with wooden stick. All biodegradable if you ask for your sauce on top of the fries (like real locals do).
