The Fashion & Lace Museum is a textile and fashion museum in Brussels, Belgium. The museum collections focus on lace, which is a traditional craft in Belgium. It was founded in 1977. Built in 1977, the Costume and Lace Museum is a clothing museum dedicated to lace and fabric, which were important parts of the textile history of Belgium. The clothes and costumes in the museum were all collected over time by the museum. Some of the museum costumes were generous donations from private home collections and date back to the 1800s. Temporary exhibitions are held at the museum each year and nearly all of them incorporate lace into the themes. Preserving and educating people about the history of costume design are central to the purpose of this Brussels museum.

I always enjoy a visit to the museum. It's a small museum with one exhibit at a time. In the numerous times that I've been, the exhibition was always well organised and informative and made from beautiful clothes you can admire.

They have interesting collection, but I expected a little bit more. Museum is not so big, 1 hour to see everything would be enough.
