When you walk around Place Louise, Avenue Louise and Avenue de la Toison d'Or, you will notice several openings and entrances leading to covered galleries. This labyrinthine ensemble has a long history, but acquired its vocation as a commercial gallery in the 1950s. It gradually spread, and is now formed by the Galerie Louise, the Espace Louise and the Galerie de la Porte Louise ! Something to get lost in! ... and besides, we get a little lost: there are several levels, several floors, and the ground floor on the Toison d'Or side corresponds to the first floor on the avenue Louise side! Still on the Toison d'Or side, the mirrored decoration enlarges the space (because the ceilings are a bit low), but gives a disturbing side to the promenade. On the Louise side, you enter (or exit) through the Inno shopping center. The galleries are fitted out as wandering spaces and as "rest" spaces (small circular "squares", one of which has water games).
