Delirium Café is a bar in Brussels, Belgium, known for its long beer list, standing at 2,004 brands in January 2004 as recorded in the Guinness Book of Records. The bar's name comes from the beer Delirium Tremens, whose pink elephant symbol also decorates the café's entrance. Always busy, but worth it. We went twice, including on Christmas Night, and both times I was impressed by the efficiency of the service at the bar. We were in the tap house. Bathrooms are very hard to find and not that great, but what do you expect, you’re here for the beer! And the beer does not disappoint.

Large, often incredibly crowded, locals know it for the pick pockets. I love visiting Delirium when I visit Brussels but I’d be wrong to say its better than any other bar in Brussels. Its cool because it has several bars within one sprawling establishment and thousands of beers on tap but I’d hesitate to say its a must go place. Delirium in Belgium feels like Guinness in Ireland. Its everywhere, it’s pretty good, but its just another large beer brand.

Interesting bar located in the basement floor with literally thousands beers selection. In 2004, it was recorded that this bar has 2,004 beer collections that got them a Guinness World Record. It is 2020 now, I wonder hiw many more day have until today.

The good. Overcrowded. Flocks of night birds all around. Cheery personnel, as much as the pressure from all the orders allows... Ideal for people's people. Also for antisocial. So many people you'll be able to easily hide among them. Some of the beers are decent. The bad. Expensive. Overcrowded. This means long waiting to get a beer. Overcrowded. So much that you can literally feel the lack of oxygen. No ventilation what so ever. Filthy. I know pubs. This is beyond filth. Bar poorly positioned. In case of emergency there is the real chance of a stampede.

Heaven for BEER lovers... 2000+ different types of Beers. Different type of Bars within. You will enjoy every bit. Only minus is there is no big list of sides/snacks. A Must Visit place in Brussels!!!
