Comme Chez Soi is a restaurant in Brussels, Belgium. The chef is Lionel Rigolet, Gault Millau's Belgian Chef of the Year 2007. For 27 years (as of 1979), it was rated with 3 stars by the Michelin Red Guide. In 2006 it was downgraded to two stars after chef and owner Pierre Wynants announced he would step down in favour of his son-in-law Rigolet. The restaurant was founded in 1926 by Georges Cuvelier, originally a coal miner from the Belgian Borinage region. In the 1930s, it moved to its present location, an art nouveau house at Place Rouppe in Brussels, where it obtained its first Michelin star in 1953. CUISINES European. Quite possibly the best meal I've ever had. I asked the concierge at the hotel we were staying at to recommend a restaurant for my (then) girlfriend's birthday, he suggested this place. I didn't know anything about the place to be honest. Although the price was a bit higher than expected, it was genuinely the best meal I've ever had. Would highly recommend visiting!

Incredibly good quality food - ingredients, preparation and cooking, and presentation are all top notch. Yes, it is quite expensive, but fairly reasonable for a restaurant of its calibre. Wine pairings also very good. To be honest, at one level it's a bit bizarre for most of us to be offering a rating on a restaurant of this level - many of us give 5 stars when we have a decent meal, reasonably priced, with good enough service. Comme Chez Soi is on a different level to most restaurants that you will eat at in your lifetime. Well worth a visit - make sure to book ahead.

Don't miss Comme Chez Soi Restaurant for a lovely mix of traditional Italian cuisine and Hungarian favorites! The restaurant is very good. Good quality ingredients. Knowledgable staff. Friendly quick service. Calm and intimate atmosphere. Make reservations via email. This restaurant is exclusive in that it only has a handful of tables. Reserve ahead!

The amazing service started right away as we were sat immediately upon arrival and made to feel right at home, like family. The table was even pulled out and put back in place after those on the bench seat side were sat. Everything on the table was perfectly placed, clean, and beautiful. I don't know where they get their silverware, dishes, and glasses, but I love them.

Top notch traditional cuisine. Impressive wine cellar with a lot of exceptional bottles. Not cheap, but I don't regret it!
