The beer is definitely good and the place is really nice, but I felt the service was lacking even sitting at the bar. Perhaps it is different in Canada but the waitress did not ask if I wanted anything else or check in on me, which did not bother me much at the end since tipping isn’t really a thing I guess..? She was very pleasant though. In the end it’s 4 star because it was worth the visit, but my experience was not made memorable and I probably wouldn’t go back. I also know I did not get the full experience with food or shuffle boards upstairs.

The layout of the place makes it impossible to (politely) order anything when they are busy. Removing the bar stools when they are super busy would help give all patrons access to ordering. It's Brussels. You can get good brew so many other places. But they were very busy both times I went in, so obviously I'm missing something.

Expensive, but that comes with the location, unfortunately. Great selection of beers, a lot of them on tap. The food is OK, but not amazing, there are better places for burgers and fries nearby if that's what you want. A big plus though: they have a number of vegetarian and even vegan options! Staff is usually very friendly but for some reason they get table orders wrong quite often.

Great selection of beer, very nice staff, good rock music, hustle and bustle of Brussels nightlife right next to main train station. Perfect place to wait when your train is late :D

You need to order at the bar. When it is full that means that you cannot even talk relaxedly to your friends because you are trying to fight for the attention of the bar keepers. Since they have so many different kinds of beer, serving individual customers takes quite long. If it's not busy, it's much more pleasant. American style, wide open space.
