Great museum. We brought our 4 year old and 1 year old. The 4 year old enjoyed putting the puzzles together and the theatre showing cartoons. Loved the brasserie as well.

The Belgian Comic Strip Center is a museum in Brussels dedicated to Belgian comics. It is located at 20, rue des Sables/Zandstraat, and is served by the Brussels-Congress railway station. he building was designed in 1905 by world-famous architect Victor Horta, in Art Nouveau style, and served as a textile department store, the Magasins Waucquez. After Waucquez's death in 1920, the building began to languish away, and in 1970, the firm closed its doors. Jean Delhaye, a former aid of Horta, saved the building from demolition, and by 16 October 1975, it was designated as a protected monument. Still, the building was in bad shape and victim to a lot of vandalism

Very interesting museum and a reasonable €10 (adult) to get in. Lots of original artwork on display and really taught about how a comic is put together and the history behind it. Not something we were specifically interested in but it was really engaging and we came away feeling we'd learned a lot. Well worth a visit.

It was a very interesting and interactive experience. A lot of really fun things to do and the ticket price is very affordable. There are a lot of new things to learn about comics and their creation process. Also very diverse in term of attractions like status, fun games, comic video projection, photo booths... Would definitely recommend it if you're in Brussels!

This is a place to visit if you like comics. One part of exposition covers the history of the subject, including technical details of production and marketing. There are examples of the Belgique strip comics, there are installations and comics’ heros depictions to take photos with them, interactive corners for children. Famous Tintin and Strumpf have specially allocated respective areas. The gift shop will make you stay for another hour(s) and spend another dozen(s) of euros - just so hard to choose a reasonable amount of books to buy, I wanted them all!
