Inside you'll see a beautiful 5,500 golden Buddha. It's by far the shiniest Buddha I've seen in any temple. It's wonderful to witness. The temple is also decorated with so much gold. This was also the location where I got to meet 2 Buddhist monks. Even though they did not understand English they were happy to take some photos. A quick word of advice, before I entered the temple there seemed to be security guards present but I'm not sure if they are official. They ask you to buy a ticket to go inside the temple but I noticed so many people just walking in without presenting anything. It might be a scam. Anyway, I would say this is a must see in Bangkok. Beautiful temple.

This temple is very good and quite huge. It is very well built and lots of tourists come here for visit. It remains as a part of the Bangkok city tour. The temple is having big idols of Lord Buddha and is one of the most famous temples of Bangkok. Time required to visit the temple is about 30 minutes. It is near to Chinatown.

Marvelous tremendous overwhelming beauty... One of the best Buddhist monastery I have ever seen.. the statue of Lord Buddha is made of 500 or 550 kg of gold ???? And the local people were awesome... A must visit place if you are going to Bangkok.. And this is one of the best location for clicking some good picture..

This is situated at Chinatown area of Bangkok and is ancient temple having pure gold idol of Buddha. Three floored building with lift facility. Wear modest dress with sleeves. Overall worth seeing this place. This is one of the temple one visits as part of half day city tour of Bangkok.

A must Visit temple in Bangkok. The famous golden buddha statue is not only spectacular and elegant but so peace giving and spiritual in it's completeness. The campus is extremely clean and well maintained. The arrangements are quite systematic and comfort to all the visitors.
