Shopping in Victory Monument is more about street fashion and cheap accessories that you might throw away after a few weeks than high-street designer labels. The area is frequented by working-class Thais and university students in search of something colourful and affordable. If you like street shopping, you might have fun browsing through the extensive collections here. For others, it can be exciting at first glance to see all the stalls packed with all kinds of goods, but the excitement basically stops there. Most shops are located underneath the BTS skywalk and along the street from Ratchawithi Soi 3 to Soi 9.

Not much to look at and tons of exhaust fumes from slowly moving vehicles. The shops are kind there are interesting though: cheap goods can be had with minimal bargaining. It’s centrally locates and good as a reference. Metro stop is right there.

If you have the opportunity to see the Victory Monument driving on the street! Order a grab bike and have him do a loop around the monument before getting dropped off! There's something amazing about driving on the WIDE 5+ lane road around the monument and seeing people looking out the trains. Roads are pretty tight in Bangkok so seeing open roads like this is unusually cool. Victory Monument has long served as one of the busiest transportation hubs in Bangkok. Nearly all public buses and vans to the city’s outskirts as well as nearby beach towns leave from this area. Unlike Siam, also a major transport hub surrounded by glitzy shopping malls, Victory Monument is a popular hangout place for working-class Thais and those who can’t afford the high price tag of fine dining and brand-name luxuries. With two shopping malls surrounding Victory Monument and a night market starting from dusk onwards, there is always something to see here, including a movie theatre and karaoke. From the monument, walk slightly south to Soi Rang Nam and discover a whole range of shop-house eateries serving up tasty yet affordable food. For brand-name shopping or high-quality souvenirs, King Power Duty Free is your best bet.

As a memory of victory in Franco-Thai war this was erected and named as Victory monument. Big land mark place of Bangkok and hub for going to other places. A big sky walk is there for pedestrians. BTS station. To travel cheaper to other places Vans also present at different places. Food stalls and shopping much more.

There is just a monument but beautifully made like a blade sword as a victory monument. Every year they will have memorable ceremony during veteran day. Nice work here, proud to be Siamese.
