Less popular than Erawan shine but saw quite a number of local girls praying. Good to drop by!

The shrine is a landmark in front of CentralWorld in the Siam area of Bangkok. Built in 1989, the Trimurti Shrine is on a raised platform, sheltered by a dome on 4 pillars with elaborately carved gables at the four sides. There's an open area around the shrine with a ring of seats for worshippers to sit and reflect.

Anothe local shrine, a place of worship for tourists and locals alike located outside the old World Trade Center. We walked past a number of times as our hotel was nearby. There were two small shops selling joss sticks and flowers offering at the front of the shrine.

Trimurti Shrine (Shrine of Love): The Trimurti Shrine was built in 1989 on a raised platform in the busy business district at Ratchaprasong junction in downtown Bangkok at the corner of the Central World Plaza, (former World Trade Centre), just in front of famous Erawan Shrine across the road. Trimurti refers to three most important Hindu Gods i.e. Brahma the creator, Vishnu the sustainer and Siva the destroyer. It is believed that those who pray here for true love will have their dreams fulfilled. Worshippers are mostly local who normally come in the evenings to make their offerings of garlands and joss sticks. On every Thursday night around 9.30 pm, lovelorn Thais of all ages make a beeline for this shrine to place red roses and light red candles in their quest for love.

The shrine is located in the compound of Central World Mall just opposite to the Big C building.Trimurti is basically a Hindu God who is a combination of Brahma, Vishnu and Maheshwara. So he is considered to be the most powerful one. He is also known as the "God of Love" as Thai people believe that praying to him will help them meet their soul mates and on Thursday night all people turn up here wearing red dress so it becomes very crowded.
