This restaurant was on the list of top spots for pad Thai, so of course I ventured out here. Limited menu with cheap prices! I got the number 4 and orange juice. It was decent, but a little sweet for my liking. I didn’t find it too fishy like the other reviews, but it does have the shrimp like flavor in the meal. Overall good for what it’s worth. The noodles were soft and silky. Orange juice was great, sweet and pulp included... a little frozen so tasted kind of like a slush. Portions were on the smaller side. My bf got the vegetarian version and found a hair in his food. We didn’t wait in line for too long, I’d say it went fairly quickly. Glad I got to cross this off my bucket list!

Long queue for a pad thai that's pretty good and definitely worth trying (although maybe not regularly). Service is excellent and seating is very comfortable. Prawns and other ingredients seemed fresh and the owners are clearly passionate about the dish. The (pricey!) orange juice is also delicious and pulpy.

This experience was incredible thanks to the manager Nittaya who took my friend and I under her wing and gave us a detailed history of this historical restaurant. She was so kind and patient with us, explaining how this place created Pad Thai many many years ago and perfected it throughout the years. From the get go the experience of eating here is great just be ready to wait in line if you don't get there before they open.

A place you will not be disappointed with the quality of the food. We were initially a bit sceptical about what to expect due to the large tourist presence. We were seated within about 30 minutes of lining up outside and we're asked to order immediately. The food came a short while later and was probably the best pad Thai we had eaten so far in Thailand. The presentation was amazing for something that only cost 120 baht per dish, would definitely recommend going despite the wait outside.

No longer the best Pad Thai in Bangkok. OK, Pad Thai still tasty and it is a good one. I visited Bangkok in 2016 and the place was a truly street food spot. Actually, it was a legendary street food place where they cook your Pad Thai in the street and then you eat it inside in a small dining room. Now, they change completely and it is a sort of "Macdonald's" for Pad Thai just for tourist people. Small pad Thai dish. They lost the essence, they lost their street food soul.
