What a neat place this is. I can't believe the size of the elephant in the middle and what's even cooler is you get to go up inside it. I really enjoyed the artwork here no the elephants are need to check out. Definitely a fun little stop and worthwhile to check out.

Tourist trap!!!! They charge foreigners 400 baht(it is about much more than the price for Thai nationals). You can see the whole "museum" in 5 minutes. It is just a small building with 3 elephants on it. And the inside is a little better than the free temples you find everywhere in Bangkok. If you are a European don't waste 400 baht on it. With the same price you could visit 2 real good museums in Europe. Erawan is just a tourist trap! Shameful!

A very beautiful temple which the main colour is pink. The elephants on top are spectacular, everywhere is a good spot for photo. They have a dress code for entering the main hall, shoulders and thighs have to be covered (they provide free sarongs for people who forgot to change). Though its a bit far from the city centre, still worth the trip to spend an hour here.

The complex is interesting and worth a short visit, though a bit expensive (if you are a foreigner, 400 Bht) for what you get. However, the main elephant statue is quite impressive and is worth the visit by itself. There is a pottery museum under the main building that discusses Siam’s ancient pottery trade and is interesting. The surrounding gardens are also quite pretty with numerous statues of Thai mythical creatures and elephants.

Erawan Museum is a museum in Samut Prakan Province, Thailand. It is well known for its giant three-headed elephant art display. The three storeys inside the elephant contain antiquities and priceless collections of ancient religious objects belonging to Khun Lek Viriyapant who is the museum owner. Museum inspired by the thoughts and imagination of an ancient owner, its a terrific repository of antiquity and cultural heritage and Thai arts. You have to be wowed by the enormous three-headed pachyderm, a free standing sculpture that had us spellbound.made of more than 100,000- pieces of copper, the structure is a dazzling 15 storey height . Inside the museum there is a plethora of decorative mediums that showcase the elevated sense of Thai arts. Outside, the museum is surrounded by a garden of plants that appear in literature and rare specimens of plants from every region of the country.
