The Deck has an excellent food selection and one of the most astonishing views I have ever seen. It faces the Way Arun monument and you feel like you are eating next to the Bangkok's "Eiffel tower". We tried traditional dishes, soups, Pat Thai etc!!! The Deck worths at least one visit when you visit Bangkok!!!

While the restaurant and bar itself is fine (both food and service wise is decent enough), I wouldn’t recommend the experience itself to anyone. Our table was close to the staircase on the 4th floor and instead of having a dinner with a view of Wat Arun, we ended up seeing mostly the backs of tourists as they crammed into the view of Wat Arun to take pictures. (See pics below). While it's not out of view the entire time, guests from the restaurant and the bar above continue to crowd in areas of the restaurant in view of the temple, and by doing so, get in the way of where people are attempting to enjoy their dinner. It ends up being a rather hectic and stressful setting. Perhaps check out one of their other restaurants or bars or one of the higher-end places next door for a better experience. Unfortunately The Deck feels more like a tourist viewing deck than a place to eat or drink.

I will recommend you to make a reservation before hand so you'll get the perfect table and no time limit. I didnt make a reservation, so they just gave me the available table, which is not good to take photo bcs there was always people in all of my photos. And told us to finish in 1 hour. But the staff and service is good. I recommend the roasted salmon with mussels.

I booked this place for my husband's birthday and I was a bit ashamed of it upon leaving. The booking had been imposed for 6pm even though I wanted for a bit earlier to see the sunset. The view is nice but a gray blank building is kind of ruining it. Lots of people were coming over around our table the whole night to take lots of pictures of the temple which became annoying. The menu is quite pricey and doesn't really worth the price (not much seasoning). I was hoping for my husband to receive a special service for his birthday but nothing had been done (unlike other places we've been for special occasions). Very disappointed that the dinner wasn't a memorable evening :(

We came in Friday evening and luckily got one remaining table on the terrace. From here you have a nice view at the river and the illuminated temple on the other side. Food came fairly quick, understandably the fish took longer. We had chicken Satay, Sea Bass, Glass Nodle Seafood, Tofu curry and a bottle of wine. Everything was really good, all the food and the wine. Too little of the peanut sauce for the satays, but still I will give 4 stars for the whole experience, waiters where very quick to react, food came fast and prices are reasonable.
