Rod Dee Det is a long-standing Thai noodle shop operating since 1973 on Siam Square, a popular gathering spot among Bangkok's youth. There are two famous Thai noodle dishes served here. Asian, Thai. Approx cost for two people Rs 460.

We ordered beef noodles soup and whilst the food was great the service was appalling. We were completely ignored when we walked in, so we took a seat and waited a while before anyone gave us a menu. We waited another 5-10 mins before the waiter came and took our order. Food came out quickly, but this was the first time we’ve ever felt unwelcomed ever, in this wonderful city. We’ve been here over 100plus Times (we visit every year).

I considered this restaurant a Thai fast food place. The dishes here are simple; cooked chicken/beef served with rice/noodles. The price is rare to find in Siam area (relatively low) and the taste is not bad. The chicken rice here served with unique and yummy gravy. The rice with sweet pork tasted just about right, not too sweet as it sounds. The baked rice with chicken also goes well with its spicy sour sauce. Fast food vibe. Average service and average cleanliness but this standard is very reasonable for this price range.

Delicious street food style noodle soup! Ordered two for myself! Thai milk tea was a little sweet but not a big deal. Restaurant is very near all the shopping malls

I ordered beef noodle with vermicelli (50 THB) and an iced black coffee (20 THB). Food and drink were prepared very fast even though there were a lot of customers. Taste wise, the beef noodle was delicious. The beef was a little bit chewy but not that bad. Sprinkle some chili flakes for that extra flavor. The iced coffee was very good. However, I only gave four stars because the portion size is SO SMALL! That's saying something because I'm a small eater and even I felt it was not enough. I recommend this place but remember to order two bowls if you're hungry.

Located around siam area without air conditioner (only fan) so the place is quite hot. We ordered beef noodle and sweet pork on rice. The taste is flavourful and amazing but the portions are way too little. Drink is not really cold unless you add some ice on it (additional 20 baht for the ice cube). But overall is very good.
