Great location for birdwatching. Be there from dawn to 10am and then after 4pm. There are some good websites with guides and photos. Look out for other birdwatchers who may have spotted something interesting. It also a quiet respite from Bangkok. Gardens are well maintained and lots of staff making it quite safe. Its adjacent to the Chatachuk market so you can combine both in a single visit

The best park in Bangkok. Basically it's a merger of 3 different parks but you don't even notice that, it all feels like a huge park. The bicycle rent is so worth it - cheaper than a beer, and for the whole day. I always love to come here to unwind from the city. You can't completely erase the big city presence, but it's a good place for walking and stretching your bones.

Nice spacious uncrowded greenery. There are pay toilets and some tables, besides benches. Maintained but doesn’t get much attention from the public who seem to prefer malls than outdoors. More sounds by birds/insects than humans. Happy that they have their space and hope it stays that way.
