24 hours of madness. This is the place to go before midnight. Anything after, the place becomes busier with all the people, who make a living trying to buy in bulk for the upcoming day. All the wonderful flowers of the day, herbs, fresh spices all flow from here. For best results, get a good guide if you're a first time visitor. Take a quick food tour and check out what the guide can show you before you step into the flower market.

If you want to know a bit about Thai culture, this market is a good place to visit. Flowers are an important part of Thai religion and you can see it everywhere in Thailand. Throughout the day, you will see vendors preparing flower decorations for religious offerings and selling it in large quantities. This market is mainly frequented by locals, it’s free to enter and it’s open 24 hours a day.

Fantastic market not only for flowers, but also spices, inexpensive Old Style Thai desserts, and a pretty good bowl of noodles. Very nice and helpful vendors really surprised me. The entire place acts like they are more than just working in the same location. A great place that I never thought of going to before, but from now on I will make a point of visiting again, if I find myself in that part of town.

The variety of flowers was quite mind boggling, here are some of them. The market has always been a haven for traditional flowers that used for decoration and worship in temples and houses. A gamut of expressions captured; it is business as usual for the vendors and buyers, something they do day in and day out!

Definitely worth visiting. Mix of traditional Thai market, with food & flowers in-between. Some cool and hip cafes keep popping up. Give it a try.
