Nunglen is one of my favorite places in Bangkok. One of the few places that has been here for a decade while large clubs open and close within 2-3 years. It is very local, mostly only Thais. Yes its dark, yes its tight and very loud but I love the atmosphere and the Thai live music. Also it is nice to get away from the crowds of foreigners in other venues.

This place is famous for the local, foreigners will neee passport to get through the entrance, they require original passport (not image) as a proof of your age (25+) but it's ok if you under the age 1-3 year old. It's fun, they have acoustic. Drink and food is somehow a little expensive. It's good place for group.

For local is great but for tourist will be slightly not so good. Live band basically play only Thai song....
