This little shack is Bangkok's cheapest riverside bar. Hidden behind the Shangri-La hotel you'll find a drinking den of the old-school variety—flexing plastic chairs, classic Thai stir-fries (including knockout southern dishes beloved of chefs like 80/20's Napol Jantraget) and ice-cool, sub-B100 Leos. Fun place right on the water. Really good, cheap food and drinks. Try to avoid using the washroom though, not so pretty. Would still recommend anyone in Bangkok to check out.

Jack's bar was very compact and crowded. The view was okay, but better views can be had elsewhere along the river. The seating arrangement was cramped, and only the front six seats had views of the river. Fans would be a nice addition to combat the heat. Fair pricing made up for the lackluster service.

Great place to eat and good value, a lovely meal for 4 will be about 600-800 baht, staff are lovely and can’t do enough for you. We have visited twice now and, maybe the nicest food we’ve had in Bangkok

Nice location. The prices were not the cheapest based on its location but it was a good experience. The staff were very welcoming and pleasant. Busy place where one can easily drink alone or with friends. People were very friendly.
