Huamum is a new opening in the northern Bangkok neighbourhood of Lat Phrao, and is a relatively off-the-radar night market with a local vibe. Yes, the goods you’ll find for sale at Huamum are along much the same lines as you’ll find at popular night markets elsewhere in Bangkok – everything from clothing and shoes to homewares and cute trinkets – but that doesn’t mean they are the typical tourist tack common in some places. Indeed, the vast majority of visitors to Huamum night market are locals – don’t expect much in the way of English-language signage – and an additional benefit to that is that it’s likely you’ll come across some slightly cheaper prices than elsewhere. Nothing makes a night market more appealing to local tastes than an awesome selection of street food to graze on between shopping stints, and Huamum excels here, with an array of market staples and more, from desserts and snacks to noodles and seafood. The market has also become renowned for one (possibly not so family friendly!) novelty shellfish restaurant in particular, Staneemeehoi, where waiters come in the form of singing, dancing hunky men scantily clad in tutus, tight vests, bath towels, and even plastic bags fashioned into dresses.

This is a hidden gem, with music flowing out from bars and peddlers out in the streets, also an open stage where locals have events. It will be nice to understand Thai, however if you are like me and cannot, this is still a sight to behold as nearby peddlers peer towards the stage when the locals perform their locally flavoured performances. I was there during the new years so am not sure if there are stage performances everyday, however do check it out if you are in to a more chill environment from the hustle of crowded tourist places.

- A relaxing night market - We came here from a friend’s recommendation for a hilarious seafood store to visit. We found it was a very nice place everyone should explore while in Bangkok. The place is not as crowded as those are near Bangkok center. It took us more than 30min from National Stadium to here by Taxi. You could find good food, nice shopping place, and good music

if you are finding night market for dinner or trying some street foods, this is the best place you should go. At night sometimes, there is a singer and benches prepared for you to hangout. moreover, there are many shops for you such as clothes, antiques, snacks and others I really cannot explain. Try some.

Not many foreigners here. Non-food shopping kinda boring. Many food shops but only 1 halal food store. Take a taxi/grab to here. There's a restaurant with rowdy men in ladies sleepwear gyrating and dancing. Personally i wouldn't come back here.

This is a well-organized night market in Bangkok. I had been here almost every weekend in two years ago. You will see tons of tent in this market. And almost everything could be bought in this market.
