The beds are very very stiff and twins put together. Bring your own pillow as well. Other than that the place is very nice big and clean. I will say this is the more Arabic district, which I had no idea prior to booking. Given that, they are all very nice and very welcoming, we did not feel very out of place as we actually were. The massage place inside the plaza was very professional and very upscale. This is nana plaza so research before coming to know what that means. ;) grand 5 didnt seem to allow hourly rate rooms which should tell you more about the place. Would recommend if your on a budget!

Employees are very unfriendly and require unnecessary charges. The room smells quaint and no soundproof. It's the worst hotel ever.

Grand 5 hotel & plaza Sukhumvit is good place to stay. Staff is very attentive and responsive. Hotel services includes room services within minutes. Rooms are small but clean and full of services like WIFI, lockers, Smart TV, Mini bar. Hotel located just in front of metro track and close to metro station from there you can easily travel within bangkok.Surrounded by many exchanges, markets, arabic and asian restaurants. At ground floor of hotel multi shops are supermarkets are available.

Great location of the hotel, but in terms of facility there is hardly anything. Agreed that its a budget hotel, fit for backpackers and casual travelers. The rooms are so-so, bathrooms are super wow. We were there for 3 days (2 nights) so it was fine. Location wise it is very very close to the Nana Metro station. The problem is, if you get a room say on the 3rd or 4th floor, the metro trains travel exactly in front of your window, which can be a little noisy. The views on the higher floors is so-so and if you are really unlucky, you will get rooms that face a dull view of AC industrial units from 3 adjoining buildings. Also, note that the walls of the hotel are paper-thin. We had noisy neighbours and kids running in the hallway all night and the walls couldn't prevent the din from seeping in. Food is excellent at this hotel though. With a buffet style breakfast, lunch and dinner with a la-carte menu as well. Bkfast, Lunch and dinner have fixed timings though.
