Great hotel situated away from the more chaotic part of Bangkok, but places are easily accessible. Offers 4 restaurants, a pool and a gym. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Staff and courteous and respectful. Rooms are pretty decent. Food is quite good especially the buffet breakfast, wide variety. Massages at the hotel are good too. Hotel is close to few malls as well as next door to a hospital.

The hotel is okay; just like every other Golden Tulip Hotel in Asia (the best one is in Tunis). What's appalling is the insulting game they play with prices. The pub, "Blackies Sports Pub," advertises, "Buy 1 get 2", but it's a scam. For comparison, I compared the cost of DELIVERED Beer in Thailand (see the photo), to the cost of the same beer in the hotel (of course, we expect the cost of anything in a hotel to be inflated from the retail price, so the cost of "delivered" should provide a reasonable comparison). The cost of a bottle, delivered, is $155 THB ($ 4.90 USD), which for standard, locally produced under license lager, is reasonable by asian hotel standards. But, the same beer at the Golden Tulip is $400 THB ($12.80 USD) per bottle, so clearly the hotel's promotion is a scam. They have more than doubled the price, then insult us by suggesting that they are offering us some sort of "special" to capture our business. When I discussed this fact with the manager he conveniently presented - from a cleverly hidden location - a sign with prices and tried to justify the scam. Worse, the bar was filled with mosquitos and fruit flies; it's not clean. It lacks any appearence of an "upscale" establishment, so a reasonable person would never expect to pay such prices, and I'm sure that's why the price list was obscured from view.

Nice place... Good hospitality. Big on the expensive side against other apartments available in bkk.

Receptionist very rude and unhelpful. Ruined my stay. Deposits not consistent. Some got charged 2kbaht some 3k. Convenient for festivals around show dc. Quite a distance to town.
