This humble chicken and rice stall has drawn a devoted fan base of locals and in-the-know visitors for more than 50 years. The aromatic rice is cooked with chicken oil and perfectly matches the flavour of the chicken, and the double-boiled soup is delicious, or, as the locals say, aroymak. Cuisine - Thai. Approx cost for two people Rs 600.

Famous chicken rice in the heart of Bangkok. Has very good value for the price, rice is fragrant and soup is peppery and flavourful. However the chicken is less tender than expected and prepare to queue for a while during peak hours. Overall would still recommend to anyone who does not want to leave central Bangkok.

I think I should give them 6 stars. The chicken rice was so nice, the price was value compared to the portion. I went there for lunch and the queue not to long, service fast and the food so delicious. No wonder the got Michelin star. Will be back here someday for sure. Keep up the good work.

They move to another place but not too far from the old place. Their chicken rice is delicious. The rice is just perfect and smells very good (taste good too!). The broth taste so good although a little bit salty and the chicken taste a bit bland for me. The new place is more comfortable and clean too.

Good place to eat chicken rice in Bangkok. Their steamed chicken is so soft, delicious, and rich of flavor. Known as Pachamke in my origin, Jakarta, this kind of comfort food really satisfying! Just a simple menu yet making people no hesitate to get in a line, even with a long queue!

Ordered half spring chicken (THB340) for 3 person, chicken is tender and nice too. The dipping sauce is unique on its own, giving it the spice kick but at the same time supporting the flavour of the chicken too. Rice is flavourful too!
