A big statue of Rama V, who is the most beloved King of all Thais. Through smart and wise decision making and diplomacy, he kept foreign powers from taking control of the country. He was learned, well-traveled and not only a worldly, but also a spiritual leader. Make sure to visit him at least once, because Thailand today would be very different without him.

We went to an event called Love and Warmth at Winter's End, which hold at the area. At the event we were allowed to take as many (of our own) pictures as we liked. There were many food stalls and shops decorated in traditional Thai style and many volunteers cleaning and helping at the event. People were super helpful and kind to each other. We had so much fun there. It was a wonderful family time.
