The first thing you'll notice at Charcoal is the chic atmosphere. It was an enjoyable place to have dinner. Next you'll probably see the whimsical and unique drink menu. We had three cocktails total and they were all extremely well presented and delicious (I think my favorite of what we tried was their take on the mojito). Finally, the food is fantastic. We had the lamb chops and one of the recommended chicken dishes. They were both excellent. Would recommend to anyone who likes Indian flavors and wants to try some unique drinks. A bit pricey (we paid about 1500 per person) but it was worth it for sure.

This restaurant was recommended by friends and it did not disappoint. This is on the higher end of the price range for an Indian meal but it was worth it. The waiter was extremely helpful recommending varies dishes and providing cocktail suggestions to pair with the food. The cocktails are fantastic. We will definitely be back.

My husband booked this for our wedding anniversary and it was perfect. They bought out a cake at the end too. The food was delicious. Great ending to a lovely day. Thank you so much! We will be back many times more.

Amazing interior design and the food was quite good. This place has such great potential that it breaks my heart to give it a 4. The service was woefully inadequate. Even by Indian restaurant standards. We were one of three tables dining at the time and were outnumbered by staff yet still managed to have error after error. Once you find this place which is on a dead street in rather sub par hotel you'll enjoy the food as long as you have a lot of patience.

I am quite picky when it comes to higher class restaurants, especially in Asian countries. More than often the value goes into the decoration and interior of the place and not into the food experience. With this place, you have some fairly great dishes, but also some which are simply mundane. When I pay on a high-class level for everything I expect high-class in everything.
