Since 1985, Brown Sugar: The Jazz Boutique has been serving Bangkok's live music fans and has never failed to give everybody a good time. After 26 years of great service, the jazz bar moved from Sarasin Road to a bigger home on Phrasumen Road. The club is open during the day as a restaurant and coffee house. Way overpriced. Their claim to fame is an article from 22 years ago. They charge service and tax on top of prices that are already double toe standard in the surrounding area. The music is okay and the sound is good. But it's just not worth it.

Kinda nice place. But a bit overpriced. Oddly they have prices of the alcohol per bottle but not per portion in the menu. When we asked for a portion of whiskey they just calculated it )) Nice live music. Worth checking

Good people and good music. The service was good and the drinks were fantastic. And the singer named June was the best jazz singer I have heard in years. An amazing voice and a very cool band!

Expensive drinks (on the same level you would pay in the US or Europe) but really fun vibe a d great music while I was there

This place is the way too too expensive and overpriced. The price on the menu is already too much and they still add more tax and service charge to make more expensive. It's the most expensive we've never seen. Just small (0.25 l) Singha draught beer can be over 200 and some imported beer can be over 400. The music was ok. We can find great music somewhere else with reasonable charge on food and drinks. Not worth ti go. Not recommend until they make the price reasonable. We just went in to check out and walked out with disappointment.
