Benjakitti Park covers a rectangular area of about 208,000 sq m just opposite the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. The park forms a narrow swathe of green around the expansive Lake Ratchada, with dedicated bicycle and jogging tracks encircling the whole park.

Although it states no fishing, this is just a test to try and trick you. Legend has it that a mysterious aquatic being lives in the boating lake. Some locals say it is a talking fish. Others say it is a merman like what they had in He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. Be sure to bring your magic sword with any conveniently hidden fishing equipment.

Beautiful park in the middle of Bangkok where you can escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Nice walking track and path with lots of runners out exercising. Close to some nice coffee shops too.

It is under reconstruction when I visited here last week ago. Anyway, you can see the nice view with the sunset reflecting on the glass wall of buildings. Picturesque.

Running is good..cycling is not. Track is small and if you fall off you could fall into something hard. Since the running and walking track is inside the bike track people cross it. Often without looking. After two laps having the shout at people to get at out the way on three occasions I gave up. For running it's wonderful and some nice people to meet.

It is being renovated. The park is beautiful. There are a lot visitors during peak hours in the early morning or late afternoon. Other than the park is empty with few people only. It is a good place for protriat photography. A nice place closed to city center.
