Bangkok Butterfly Garden and Insectarium - Bangkok    Share

Had a really nice time today at the butterfly park and insectarium. It is a small place, but is packed with butterflies. They have some feeding stations throughout the park which makes for some.great close encounters. As far as I could tell, they only had about 4 different types of butterflies at the time I went. The reason I have rated it 4 stars and not five is because it is quite run down. The whole park in which it is located appears derelict, and several times my family and I thought we were walking through an abandoned area. With that said, it made for a nice day out and it is free entry. Worth a visit especially if you have kids or are working within a budget.

The entire area is well maintained. I got to see many beautiful butterflies up close and was even lucky enough to see this huge lizard in the surrounding park! So cool!

Great place to relax close to the city. Free entry. Can I suggest a donation or charity box near the exits as I think many tourist would be happy to donate.

Pretty cool for a Sunday afternoon explore. Not amazing but it’s free entry and the rest of the park is large and plenty of plants , lizards and birds to see.

Insectarium near Chatuchak Public Park. Good place to enioy with your kids. Most importantly is there is no ticket fee!. It's free
