Today this former royal palace is owned by the National Bank of Thailand. At the moment, it is closed for renovation. I visited this palace in June 2018, shortly before it was closed. It was very interesting. During the visit, we were allowed to use a camera in the park and, with a few exceptions, everywhere inside the palace. When the renovation is completed, there will be access for the public again. I do not know when this will happen. Perhaps in the middle of 2019?
