Really fun to walk through and see all the stuff. If I can, I'd like to make a plug for just paying whatever the person asks. Nothing in the market is that expensive, and as a tourist the money you save isn't that much by bargaining, but perhaps it's another meal for the person behind the stand. I know bargaining can be fun, but there's also quite a bit to be said for the smile on the shop person's face and the small trinket they will give you or your kids when you end up paying that extra $0.50. If you're claustrophobic, I wouldn't walk through the interior. On a relatively mild day, it was very stifling and closed and hard to get out once you were all the way in the middle.

Interesting place to explore which has a range of local shops selling various amulets of the buddha. Great to look around and grab a few as a momento.

Very big market with Thai amulets. Very many stands. Prices, quality and condition of amulets are very different, but unfortunately most sellers cannot explain the meaning in English.

A small amulet market I stumbled upon in Prachuap Khiti Khan. Nothing touristy about this - just a group of Thai guys selling and buying amulets under a bridge near the railway tracks. Quite interesting.

A very strange place worth visiting. Close to Chao Praya ferry piers.
