24hour staffed reception, smoke room, breakfast available, bar and bar food available. Good location, next to an absolutely beautiful park with bike locking stations nearby. Very tall and no elevator, so if you have bad knees or issues with stairs, request to be on a lower floor and they MAY be able to help, but it cannot be guaranteed. I accidentally booked with the DOWNTOWN location and arrived at the UPTOWN location with my sister, and they were super kind and able to squeeze me in (and give me the same room as my sister!). They were also able to speak with the other location and cancel my booking without any fees, which was amazing. Toilets are weirdly small, but it isn't a huge problem. Wifi sometimes cuts out, but if you disconnect and reconnect, it usually will start working again. Overall, had a great time!

It was just amazing, the bathrooms were always clean as well as the room. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also good, with options for vegans and vegetarians!!!

I stayed at the Flying Pig Uptown for a little over a week and it was great! Friendly workers and visitors, located very close to the Park and Museums. One of the volunteers Liam was extremely helpful. He pointed us towards great food spots, sights to see, and in general was made sure we were comfortable and having a great time in our time at the Flying pig!

A decent place to put one's head down for the night. The party goes into the wee hours of the night, but it was quiet enough in my room that was next to the party. Close to all the happening spots, especially the Rijksmuseum.

Loved it here!! By far the best hostel I have ever stayed in! World class service and lovely warm hospitality and chilled atmosphere and excellent value for your money. Rooms are clean and well furnished and service at the bar is excellent. I recommend the cocktails, which are very well-made and presented! Please send on my warm thanks and appreciation to Maartje and Gareth, who were working at the bar when I stayed there with my friend and brother earlier this month. Very impressed with their service and their friendliness
