Concept is awesome but in my Multiple visits lacks execution. Rarely live music and tiny area if there ever was. Staff are cool and prices are average. Highlight is decor so thats an issue.

Description
Rockclub the Cave is a rock/ metal club and pub located in a suitably dark basement on the Prinsengracht in Amsterdam Centrum. The Cave is easily reached from the Leidseplein. Ever since it opened in 1995 Rockclub the Cave has been a favourite hangout and must-visit for any rock, metal and hardcore lovers residing in -, or visiting Amsterdam. The music played at Rockclub the Cave is guaranteed to be heavy and hard. The Cave is open seven days a week and regularly hosts live concerts. On Fridays and Saturdays you will usually find one or more live performances there during the evening. The Cave hosts concerts by either local or visiting metal and rock formations playing all imaginable flavours of metal. Compact, underground pub for heavy metal & rock fans with live music on Fridays & Saturdays. Bars & Clubs. Approx cost for two people Rs 500

The heart of metal if Amsterdam beats in the Cave. Very friendly staff and cool atmosphere. Great music taste and unexpected live performances. Don't miss if you're a metalhead!

I've been to Metal/Rock bars in Vienna, Krakow Paris, New York, Prague, Rio de Janeiro, etc... This is THE TOP BEST one!!! Highly recommended!!
