The Sarphatipark is a public urban park located in the stadsdeel Amsterdam Oud-Zuid in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The park is named after Samuel Sarphati. In 1942, the park was renamed "Bollandpark" after G.J.P.J. Bolland, because Samuel Sarphati was a Jew. The old name was restored after the war in 1945.

Sarphatipark is small park located in south Amsterdam and off the main tourist circuit. It's a fine park, very walkable with many walkways, plants, trees, greenery and perfect for a picnic in summer and best of all, it large enough to explore and enjoy without the crowds in Vondelpark. Not a must-see, but good to visit if in the area.

Nice park Especially the inner part. The outer ring is often trashy and Lots of tourist smoking weer. Kingsday is the best Day to visit

Dublin was not a city that particulary made me want to rush back, however I enjoyed Sarphatiapark as a peaceful escape from the gloom of the city. It's great to go for a walk, ride your bike or just enjoy a picnic in the outdoors.

A very sprawling beautiful park with sculptures, gardens, ponds & smooth road for biking. Many benches to rest on but today they were all wet with dew. The very early morning is a great time to walk around because the lighting coming through the trees is amazing & makes pretty pictures. It's not any less crowded though because there are lots of people already biking on a perfect trail around the whole park. There were adorable parakeet-like birds flying around certain trees that were fun to watch. Toilets are not easily found in this park, I actually didn't see any except for in a restaurant.

Love this Park. Nice cafes and ships nearby and a lovely place to relax on a sunny afternoon. Always visit when I am in Amsterdam.
