Quite surprised to see so unsuitable for tall people hotel in the Netherlands. Overall is a gem. Quite cozy and old school. The staff are just pure gold. I love the location. Bathrooms are disappointing, and for particular reasons, I don't want to think about, almost all the surfaces in the room are covered with mirrors. Too much mirrors.

We stayed at apartment here. The location can counted as the best if you stay in Amsterdam . It is close to almost every touristic area which you can even walk to them. The apartment was nice and I think bigger than many other areas. It was comfortable . We stayed in November and it was warm. They have almost all kitchen tools if you want to cook and it was close to a good grocery and bakery shop. One positive thing : smoking is not allowed at the hotel . Beside they have stairs same as all old buildings and it will be tough for some one who has disability or problem with knee.

Nice little hotel with reasonable prices, drink and room wise. However our room looked nothing like the pictures, we were expecting a far nicer place for our anniversary. Marks all over the walls and very plain. Average view. Would stay again but not for a special occassion.

Small Hotel, not very clean, if you complain politely the staff will say it's your fault. The girl on reception should change jobs.

Imagine coming to Amsterdam for the first time. It’s a cold winter day when you arrive and you get into your room there’s no heat. So you talk to the person at the desk who apologizes but can’t do anything about the room because the boss is out of country. Since the room is cold you ask for an extra blanket. They have none! A $200e a night hotel has no extra blanket. You ask about brown water on the shower floor, drain cover that’s half broken off, no hooks for towels, and no electrical outlet in the bathroom. The response- a shrug. I’ve stayed at lots of hotels in many different countries and this ranks at the bottom.
